Chat or instant messaging allows you to communicate in real-time with your crew, other boaters and marina staff.
With this powerful tool, you can also share your current location directly in the chat messages.
If you are not logged into Dockit when somebody sends you an instant message, you will receive an notification via email or app notification.
If you are logged in, you will receive in-app notifications that you can respond to instantly.
When sending a chat message to marina staff, if you know who you want to chat with, select their name from the staff list, otherwise, you can easily select staff by their role and messages will be sent to all staff assigned to that role such as ‘Office Staff’ or ‘Service Management’.
